Corona/COVID-19 dominates the news and is having an enormous impact on our lives. The situation is changing from day to day and sometimes from hour to hour. We are closely following all the developments and guidelines.

The National Security Council of Belgium considers the food sector to be essential and vital.  It is therefore imperative that we do everything in our power to ensure the continuation of food supplies.

We are extremely proud of all our employees who are working very hard every day to make this possible. Fevia, the federation of the Belgian food industry, has started the #FoodHeroes campaign. The objective is to give our food heroes the support that they deserve from the food industry. All photographs will be posted on the online platform Foodheroes,  including those of the Pittman team.

At Pittman Seafoods, your safety and the safety of our employees is our highest priority.
We have taken several measures and are strictly following the below guidelines:

• Wherever possible our employees are working from home. All the facilities that are necessary to make this possible are available. All employees can easily log in to our IT system and telephone calls are redirected. You will not experience any difference when you try to contact us.
• We believe that hygiene is of paramount importance. In addition to the strict standards that are already in place in our production, we closely follow the guidelines on ‘social distancing’. We have made changes to the production environment to guarantee the safety of our employees.
• Unfortunately, we can no longer admit external persons to our warehouse.
